# Game Mechanics

Lemon Jet is built around crash mechanics which is becoming more and more popular among players. The mechanics are simple but highly engaging. Let's get a quick break down.&#x20;

### Basic Mechanics

In the Lemon Jet game, a game begins by setting an LJT amount for the launch, for example, 10 LJT. Then, the player chooses a multiplier for their launch. A higher multiplier means greater rewards but a lower chance of winning - this is the risk-reward strategy. The goal is for the player to reach a number equal to or higher than their chosen multiplier before the Lemon gets out of fuel, which ends the round.

The fuel runs out at a random point (**the exact number for each round is generated by Chainlink VRF**), and if the player chooses a multiplier number that is equal or bigger than the number when Lemon stops, players wins and the bet is multiplied by the current multiplier and they win that amount. However, if the player chooses a multiplier number lower than the point at which the Lemon stops, they lose their bet.

### How to start playing

For each round, players choose an amount for the Lemon launch. For example, a player might choose 100 LJT for the launch. Next, the player must decide the multiplier (X) they predict they will win during the launch. The higher the multiplier chosen, the lower the chances of winning.

For example, if a player chooses an initial amount of 100 LJT tokens for the round, the chances are as follows:

* 1.1x (110 LJT to win) = 90% chance to win
* 1.2x (120 LJT to win) = 82,5% chance to win
* 1.3x (130 LJT to win) = 76,5% chance to win
* 1.4x (140 LJT to win) = 70,71% chance to win
* 1.5x (150 LJT to win) = 66% chance to win
* 1.6x (160 LJT to win) = 61,88% chance to win
* 1.7x (170 LJT to win) = 58,24% chance to win
* 1.8x (180 LJT to win) = 55% chance to win
* 1.9x (190 LJT to win) = 52,11% chance to win
* 2.0x (200 LJT to win) = 49,5% chance to win

And so on. After that, players click on the "Play" button to launch Lemon Jet. Smart contract generates random number (via Chainlink VRF) and Lemon goes till the generated random number, it starts fom 1 and higher, the higher number's been generated the more Xs&#x20;

### End of launch

Lemon continues to rise until it reaches the number generated at the beginning of the round. If a player chooses a multiplier equal to or higher than the generated number, they win their deposited amount multiplied by the number of Xs. However, if the generated number is lower than the multiplier, the player loses their deposited amount. This strategy is directly linked to the risk/reward approach - higher rewards come with higher risks, or vice versa. Each player must consider that they can lose a round and choose the strategy that best fits their preferences.
