# Vaults & Single-Sided liquidity

The Vault enables anyone to provide liquidity in a trustless and decentralized way, ensuring that control of funds remains solely with the person who initially deposited the liquidity. This liquidity can be withdrawn at any time. Also, liquidity providers deposit single-sided liquidity with one asset (for example, USDT Vault, SOL Vault, etc.)

Vaults reward players who win rounds while also accumulating funds. Liquidity providers earn between 0.5% and 0.8% of the total Lemon Jet volume and revenue, meaning that as the number of players increases, so does the APY for liquidity providers.

Additionally, the maximum winning amount for players is capped at 1% of the total liquidity locked in the Vault, i.e the more liquidity deposited into Vaults, more rewards allocated to winners i.e more rewards pools.

For example, if the Vault holds $100,000 in liquidity, the maximum reward payout for players is $1,000 per winning round. Higher payouts and bigger rewards pools attract even more players, generating more trading volume on the platform. This is so called the flywheel of liquidity, the more deposited liquidity will lead to more payouts which will attract more players and increase the APY.

The Vault's smart contracts allows Lemon Jet to be fully decentralized in terms of funds management and distribution of payouts. The Lemon Jet team doesn’t have access to Vaults and can’t withdraw any liquidity or anyhow affect it. All liquidity belongs to liquidity providers, each liquidity provider has its own LP tokens that proves the ownership of some amount of deposited liquidity.
